Stephen Mullowney
Chief Executive Officer, DirectorMr. Mullowney was appointed CEO in December 2020. He is a former Partner and Managing Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), where he led PwC Canada’s Deals Mining Group for more than ten years. Mr. Mullowney has an extensive mining background, working with miners, Governments, and institutional investors across the world and supporting them in making key strategic business, financing, and policy decisions. Mr. Mullowney is a CA, CPA, CFA and holds a BBA from Acadia University.

Richard Boffey
Chief Operating OfficerMr. Boffey previously held senior executive positions with several multi-national mining companies. Most recently, he held the position of General / Country Manager at the Tara Resources Brskovo Mine Project in Montenegro, where he led the technical studies, engineering design, resource drilling, project financing, and site preparation activities for the construction and development of a mining operation. Prior to this, he was the Chief Operating Officer at the Matilda Gold Mine for Blackham Resources in Western Australia, where he recommenced open pit and underground mining for a 2 million tonne per annum operation, including process plant commissioning, establishment of technical and operating teams, and development of policies, systems and processes to optimize operations. Mr. Boffey also held the roles of General Manager at the Khoemacau Copper Mine in Botswana for Cupric Canyon Capital and General Manager of the Efemcukuru Gold Mine in Turkey for Eldorado Gold Corporation. Mr. Boffey previously spent 5.5 years at Barrick Gold Corporation, serving 4.5 years as Regional Mining Manager for the Barrick Africa Regional Business Unit, overseeing 3 operations and 1 development project in Tanzania, and 1 development project in South Africa. Prior to that, Mr. Boffey spent 10 years at Placer Dome Inc. Mr. Boffey holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineering (Hons) from the University of Auckland and is a Member of AusIMM, Competent Person (Reserves) under JORC, NI 43-101.

Michael P. Leonard
Chief Financial OfficerMr. Leonard joined TRX Gold Corporation following a 17-year career in financial leadership at Barrick Gold. Mr. Leonard is a CPA, CA with extensive experience in corporate global finance and investor relations strategy. His expertise includes financial reporting, business planning and optimization, budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling as well as financial controls and procedures. Mr. Leonard is recognized for his knowledge of the gold industry, big picture outlook and results-oriented mindset.

Khalaf Rashid
Senior Vice President, TanzaniaMr. Rashid is a resident and citizen of Tanzania. Prior to joining TRX Gold he has held senior executive positions in multiple sectors including industrials, education, and marketing communications. Mr. Rashid has a deep understanding of the business and Government working environment in Tanzania and is passionate about private investment, with a focus on creating a positive socio-economic impact for low-income households. He joins the TRX Gold Executive Team having assisted the corporation in successfully aligning its Tanzanian operations to comply with the revised laws and regulations governing mining in Tanzania. Mr. Rashid will be instrumental in driving business growth and in working with the Executive Team to identify future investment opportunities to expand the Company’s portfolio and value.

Christina Lalli
Vice President, Investor RelationsMs. Lalli has close to 20 years of investor relations and capital markets experience, having spent most of that time in the mining sector. Having held several senior-level investor relations positions within that time frame, Ms. Lalli’s contribution has been instrumental in building robust IR programs, establishing new contacts, and developing important relationships within the Canadian, U.S. and European investment communities. Prior to joining TRX Gold, Ms. Lalli worked for several Canadian junior mining companies focused on EV metals and materials, where her efforts resulted in increased market awareness and share price growth. Prior to that, she worked with the Osisko group, notably for Osisko Mining Corporation. Ms. Lalli is a seasoned professional with a BA in Psychology/Human Relations, a Graduate Diploma in HR from McGill University and a graduate of the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, designated as Certified Professional in Investor Relations (CPIR). She is also a long-time member of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute.
